These terms govern use of fvoip business phone service, operated by Beneffy Telecom ("we", "us"). By opening an account you agree to them.
Service
fvoip provides cloud-hosted business voice, messaging, and related features on a month-to-month basis (or annual, if you choose annual billing). We publish our pricing; the price you see is the price you pay, plus government-required taxes itemized at checkout.
Billing & cancellation
Service bills in advance each period. You may cancel at any time; service continues to the end of the paid period. New accounts are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Annual accounts that cancel mid-term are refunded for unused full months.
Numbers & porting
Numbers assigned to or ported into your account remain yours to use and to port away. We will not block or delay a valid port-out request.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful robocalling, caller-ID spoofing prohibited by the Truth in Caller ID Act, fraud, harassment, or traffic-pumping schemes. Unlimited calling plans cover normal business use of standard US/Canada voice calls; sustained auto-dialer or call-center-scale traffic requires a plan designed for it. We may suspend service that endangers the network or violates law, and we'll contact you first whenever practical.
911
VoIP 911 differs from traditional landline 911: it requires power and internet connectivity, and it uses the dispatchable location registered for your device. You are responsible for keeping registered locations current. We deliver e911 in accordance with Kari's Law and RAY BAUM's Act.
Recordings and compliance
You control whether calls are recorded and are responsible for complying with the consent laws applicable to your calls. HIPAA-covered entities requiring a Business Associate Agreement must be on the Enterprise plan with a BAA executed before storing protected health information on the service.
Service quality
We engineer for high availability across multiple US data centers, but no communications service is fault-proof. Your remedy for extended outages is service credit. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we'll notify account owners by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
